How do paid ads work?

Ads mode inspects campaigns and writes only after a plan and an explicit go-ahead.

Ads is an agent mode inside Coding. It is not a top-nav screen. The picker hides it when the plan does not include ads. Once a thread has a mode, the picker locks.

Before anything spends

Before the first write

    Connect the account

    Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, X Ads, or ChatGPT Ads. The card has to be finished, not only signed in.

    Ask in Ads mode

    The mode is chosen when the thread opens and stays locked. If the plan does not include Ads, the picker hides it.

    Read the plan

    Otto shows a summary. Go ahead is what unlocks the write.

    If it has a time

    The card says when it publishes, with Approve & schedule and Publish now instead.

Meta creates and updates need a reviewer or admin. LinkedIn can create a campaign as a draft. Activating or pausing it needs an explicit confirm from a reviewer or admin. Google Ads creates stay paused. Turning one on, changing the budget, or removing it needs confirm and a reviewer or admin.
