Email is on by default. WhatsApp waits for a verified number.

Settings → Notifications. Turning email off turns off every email event. WhatsApp stays disabled until a number is verified with a 6-digit code. Events include a finished run, a failed run, a pull request, checks, a preview, ready for review, deployed, and a failed form delivery.
