How do I connect WordPress?

Read and edit posts and pages with an application password. New posts and pages default to draft. Publish, private, future, and delete need a reviewer or an admin.

    Create an application password

    In WordPress, make an application password for the user Otto should act as.

    Open the WordPress card

    In Otto, go to Settings → Integrations → WordPress. This is a form on the card, not a vendor OAuth screen.

    Enter the site, user, and password

    Save the site URL, the WordPress username, and the application password.

    Leave new posts as drafts

    Creates default to draft. Publish, private, future, and delete need a reviewer or an admin. Disconnect is on the same card.

Only an organization admin can connect or disconnect an integration. A requester does not see this screen.
